The "painting smock" hanging on left side of easel is a lead-lined dental apron with an x-ray of child's torso on surface. Attached to the x-ray is a vintage clock face and paintbrush. The numbers on the clock face and tip of brush are colored to resemble the toxic radium paint responsible for cancer fatalities in women who painted luminous dials in the first half of the 20th century.
